When considering a re-roof, we would only recommend this if it is something that an extensive investigation has identified. Often a simple repair can be the most beneficial option to select and this is something that our surveyors are trained to offer. Unlike many companies, our surveyors are trained to offer consultation based on the needs of the customer, not the pursuit of larger and more profitable contracts. After a thorough inspection has been carried out on mortar and leading joints, tile condition, valley and verge lead work, the customer will be consulted and then provided with findings and then allowed to make an informed decision.
In the same way, the suitability of Solar PV panel systems is assessed on factors such as roof condition, sun orientation, space allowance and existing EPC
(energy performance certification) of the structure. Our trained surveyors can then make an objective recommendation based on the viability of a solar install that only proceeds if the customer can get a significant ‘return on their investment.’
Once it has been established as an appropriate solution, the surveyor will return to head office with measurements and return an email and optional hard copy quotation within 48 hours of the site visit. An optional secondary meeting can be set up for the client organize a convenient time schedule and specify any final adjustments to the project.
